Bindlestick Theatre Company was born out of the idea that everyone accesses information differently, has different learning styles and through the arts, we can make learning inclusive.
We use a range of techniques from our backgrounds in Theatre and the Arts industry, to explore topics, texts, poetry, storytelling, Shakespeare, maths, science, PSHE, history and geography through drama, role-play and a structured programme of games and activities specifically tailored to aid confidence and self esteem.
We also offer Theatre-based skills workshops, from Mask, Clowning and Circus, to Musical Theatre and singing sessions.
Our creative residencies programme, sees us working with an organisation for a longer period of time, on bigger projects, such as plays, projects or specific schemes of work. This could mean a week, regular 'termly' visits or anything else agreed upon.
Every learning journey or adventure we create is cross-curricular and enhances and enriches social skills, teamwork, speaking and listening and of course, most importantly - 'unpacking their imaginations'.
If you or your group have a workshop or session in mind, drop us an email and we will arrange with you all the finer details.
